Chapter One of the CAVËN Atelier Designer Series reunites the Gallardo's original designer with his work in a strictly limited series of 25 cars, with CURATED as the brand's partner in the US.
Las Vegas, Nev. [October 31, 2026] - CAVËN Atelier today unveiled HOMMAGE 26 at the Concours at Wynn Las Vegas, a complete reimagining of the Gallardo by its original designer. Fabrizio Giugiaro conceived the original Gallardo at Italdesign in 1998, and almost three decades later he has returned to the car with his studio GFG Style, redesigning it in its entirety for a series of just 25 cars. In the US, CAVËN Atelier and its projects are represented by CURATED, the internationally recognized specialist in historically significant collector automobiles.
Design Authorship is the principle behind every CAVËN Atelier project: each car is reworked only by the living designer who created the original, returning to their own work decades later. HOMMAGE 26 allows Giugiaro to revisit his original work free of the constraints set by the manufacturer at the time, using materials and technologies that were not available or practical in 1998. The front end is drawn directly from his original design and the rear is entirely new, with only five components carried over from the donor car: the roof, side windows, windshield, side mirrors and mirror bases. Everything else has been created from scratch, including a carbon-fiber body, pop-down headlights, active aero flaps and an openable rear window over the engine.
The redeveloped chassis will feature new two-mode suspension offering comfort and sport settings, new brakes and 20-inch wheels. The powertrain has been reworked by Italtecnica. The 5.0-liter V10 now revs to 8,500 rpm and is paired with a manual transmission, producing 540 hp in GT form and 560 hp in the more aggressive Performance version.
Each car is built on a first-generation Gallardo, supplied by the owner or sourced by CAVËN Atelier, with pricing from €900,000 (net, excluding the donor vehicle). Owners receive priority access to the next chapter of the Designer Series, a collection organized around authorship rather than marque. Specifications may change following the prototype phase.
