New CUPRA Born launches with striking design and enhanced technology

Milton Keynes, 05-03-2026 – CUPRA has continued to challenge convention with the launch of the new CUPRA Born, which has evolved to deliver a sharper, more emotional experience. The brand's first all-electric car has been re-engineered to deliver a new striking design, improved interior and greater technology offering.

Embracing the brand's recognisable and dynamic DNA, the new CUPRA Born's exterior design features newly designed front and rear bumpers, triangular Matrix LED lights and an illuminated CUPRA logo integrated into the 3D rear light.

Inside, the interior boasts a redesigned steering wheel featuring physical controls, higher perceived quality thanks to new door panels, and a larger 10.25" digital cockpit to enhance the immersive experience of the CUPRA Born, supported by augmented reality head-up display.

The sound system has also been upgraded with Sennheiser Contrabass technology to deliver an immersive bass performance, while CUPRA's new Interior Sound Signature delivers a stronger connection between the driver and the car.

When it comes to performance, the new CUPRA Born delivers the hallmark electrifying performance that CUPRA drivers have become accustomed to, intensifying every drive. It includes four motor-battery configurations to choose from, launch control, the new One Pedal Driving System, and wider tyres for both 19" and 20" wheels.

Alongside the upgraded performance, the new Born is equipped with updated safety system, Travel Assist 3.0, with cloud-enhanced longitudinal control, new Crossroad Assist, upgraded Front Assist with multi-stage warnings, and precrash with rear detection to deliver intelligent protection.

The new CUPRA Born V1 and V2 is capable of achieving around 279 miles range on the 58kWh battery, with both models and the new CUPRA Born VZ capable of a range of around 372 miles on the enhanced 79kWh battery. The car can also be customised with six exterior colours – including the new Timanfaya Grey.
