8 dead, 21 rescued in bus collision on Elubo–Takoradi Highway

Eight people have died following a fatal collision between an Ivorian passenger bus and a parked Burkinabè bus at Azuletti, near Samenye, along the Elubo–Takoradi Highway. The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) said its Elubo station rescued 21 passengers following the crash, which occurred on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at about 7:26 p.m.
